General Information
Members and non-members are invited to join Sequoia Paddlers [SPS]
activities. Non Sierra Club members over the age of 16 years will be asked
for a $5 donation per trip. All partaicipants must sign a release of
liability and assumption of risk form. If you would like to read it in
advance go to the "Forms" page on this website. Please contact leader at
least 5 days in advance. Do not show up without personally contacting the

Canoe and kayak roll practice sessions at the Santa Rosa
Ridgway pool.
Come to learn or tune up your roll, practice wet exits and reentries, work
on bracing, stroke techniques or just to connect with other paddlers. We
meet Thursdays at The Ridgway pool in Santa Rosa from 7 PM to about
8:45PM. The Ridgway pool is located on Ridgeway Ave off of Mendocino
right next to Santa Rosa High School. The water is warm but the air is often
cold, so wet suits are recommended as well as PFD's and helmets. Paddlers
must bring their own clean boats and gear, instruction is not provided
although advice and tips are available for the asking.

June 29 - Napa Group/Sequoia Paddlers Loon Lake Paddle for artists/doodlers. 3 days, 2 nights camping on Loon Lake. Bring your paints, pastels, pencils… wether you are an accomplished artist, or like me, just like to put color on paper, this trip is for you. We will go and look for inspiration on the water or on land. Partners not interested in the arts or contemplation are also welcome.
